Getting to Dublin by Ferry
There has never been a better time to travel to Dublin by Ferry. Faster more comfortable ships with wonderful onboard facilities ensure the perfect start to your holiday. Regular, scheduled ferry services operate between Ireland and the UK bringing both foot passengers and cars and other vehicles to Dublin through two ferry ports, Dublin Port and Dun Laoghaire. Dún Laoghaire Harbour is located 7 miles south of Dublin city and 16 miles from Dublin Airport. Dún Laoghaire is serviced by the DART (Suburban Rail) which can take you to and from the City Centre in less than half an hour. Dun Laoghaire is also serviced regularly by Dublin Bus.

By Rail
Dublin’s two main train stations Connolly Station and Heuston Station are vital hubs for the city transporting thousands of commuters and visitors to and around the city everyday.
Intercity services run from Dublin’s Heuston and Connolly Stations to the major towns and cities in the country.
Dublin is also served by LUAS, a state of the art light rail transit system. The LUAS provides a valuable rail link for commuters and visitors from Sandyford and Tallaght to the City Centre as well as linking Connolly and Hueston Rail Stations.

Travelling by Bus is a quick and convenient way of getting around Dublin. Dublin has an excellent network of bus services that provide frequent, reliable and cost effective travel throughout the city and region. There is an excellent network of services from Dublin Airport, Dublin Port and Dun Laoghaire as well as a Nitelink and Sightseeing Tours, providing a vital service for commuters and visitors alike.
