ICON EXHIBITION 4TH – 25TH March 2010 The Bad Art gallery , 79 Francis Street, Dublin 2 ‘Icons’ is an exciting first showing of new work by David Dunne. David Dunne describes himself as a contemporary Irish realist portrait painter. He is completely self taught and has been drawing since early childhood. WRECKLESS ERIC & AMY RIGBY IRISH TOUR Friday 12th March 2010 at 7.30 pm Andrews Lane Theatre (aka ALT), Dublin 2 Eric and Amy have individually been making distinctive and original music for decades: he a British iconoclast and wild-card survivor of the early Stiff Records, she as a long-standing heroine of the New York pop scene. ST. PATRICK’S 5K FESTIVAL ROAD RACE Sunday 14th March 2010 12 Noon Start / Finish at the Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2 This is the fifth year of the event which is being held as part of the St. Patrick’s Festival Week and the first city street race in a year when Dublin celebrates its status as European Capital of Sport. Open to elite athletes and fun runners alike, it is hoped that some 5,000 runners will take part.
