Description
Many enjoyed one of our very special walks in celebration of Ireland’s Patron St. Patrick.

Why do we celebrate St Patrick’s day in Dublin and worldwide with such zeal?

Much of the early development of Dublin, even before the arrival of the Vikings in the 8th century, owes its origins to the legacy of St Patrick.

The tours took place in many of the ancient sites between the two great medieval cathedrals of Christchurch and St. Patrick’s Cathedral, in particular those dating from the 13th century back to the 5th century. The tour served as an orientation for Dublin’s city centre along with learning some startling stories about St. Patrick.

Free Dublin city maps were included.

Great photographic opportunities were provided.
