Every year, as part of the Festival, we celebrate Irish culture and talent through our I Love My City programme.
Last year we had almost twenty, free headline events which included poetry, dance, visual art, film, history, song, literature, music and theatre. The one-off shows were held in some of the most impressive cultural institutions and venues across the city including The National History Museum, Marsh’s Library, Trinity College and so many more, offering an exiting variety or talents to the public.
There was also almost 25 ‘Citywide Events’ ranging from public tours to city bike rides, as well as an ‘International Celebration of Irish Culture’ from Shanghai to Paris, so there is definitely something for everyone in this series of events.
2014 will be the third installment of I Love My City and we’re so proud to see it going from strength to strength each year. To celebrate, we’ve just launched on Twitter. Drop over and follow us to keep up to date on the 2014 programme as well as information on our pre-booking facility online.
