Dublin will be bursting at the seams with open-air performances as St. Patrick’s Festival fever swings into town.

Outdoor music performances include Daithí Ó Dronaí, a musician best known for his electronic synthesized fiddle work, the lively Mariachi San Patricio, a Mexican traditional music band, traditional Irish dancer, Mick Donegan, who will display Ireland’s rich culture of dance and Electric Céilí who blend traditional melodies with modern rhythms.

Street performances will amaze old and young alike. Be sure to catch Professor Plunger and his many hilarious gadgets and inventions. Macnas will arrive in town with a giant cockroach inventor and his troupe of scientists and engineers who are full of fun, music and mayhem.  Keep an eye out for more magical characters wandering around the city.
