St. Patrick’s Festival 5K Road Race

Now in its eighth year, the race is one of the highlights of the annual St. Patrick’s Festival programme. The first of only three city street races being held in Dublin this year, it is open to families and fun runners as well as dedicated athletes.  Adding to the festive atmosphere will be an entertainment programme that features a live band, jugglers, clowns, face painters, balloon artists, stilt walkers, fire eaters and a parade of motorbikes!

This year, our very own Lord Mayor will be running as part of the 5 Alive Team. There will also be a charity relay taking place on the day between nurses, porters, doctors, neurosurgeons and physios for the Beaumont Hospital Foundation.

The race will take place on Satuday, 16th March, beginning at 12.00 noon from the Mansion House on Dawson Street, where runners will follow a route through Georgian Dublin before returning again to the finish line at the Mansion House.
