L’Europe autour de l’Europe

L’Europe autour de l’Europe: A Tribute to Irish Cinema with the 2013 theme ‘Remembering and Becoming’. This is the 8th Festival organised by l’Association Evropa Aky and features Ireland for 2013. The theme for 2013 is Remembering and Becoming and Neil Jordan is a Special Guest.

The film festival L’Europe autour de l’Europe provides a space for a discussion of ideas, encounters between different cultures and an examination of diverse aesthetics in a context of European partnership. A selection of Irish films, contemporary and from the archives, will be screened in the presence of directors, producers, writers and actors who will contribute to workshops and discussions around the main theme.
