Bram Stoker’s Festival 2013

Bram StokerLooking for something spooktacular to do this October Bank Holiday?

Check out the ‘Fangtastic’ Bram Stoker Festival running Saturday 26th through to Monday 28th October, 2013.

Taking the legacy of Dublin horror novelist Bram Stoker and his gothic novel Dracula as inspiration, the festival spreads across Dublin City Centre, and will celebrate all things macabre, strange and supernatural mixed with some good-old fashioned Halloween fun.
The streets will come alive with free pop-up performances of spine-chilling street theatre and sinister sounds. The festival will also have a city-wide Vampire Hunt for groups wanting to explore the city on a completely unique trip with a special mini Hunt for families and mini-me’s. There will be spooky movies in the open-air, blood curdling literary happenings, gory live graffiti projects, terrifying theatre, haunted walks & talks and to top it off a very special happening will take over the spectacular gothic courtyards of Dublin Castle taking you into the unknown – into the world of Stoker’s imagination, into a place where a darkened castle backdrop gives way to a fiery lair where a famous Count lies in wait…
