The People’s Parade

This year is a very important year not only for the St. Patrick’s Festival, but for the entire country, as we throw open our arms to friends and family from all over the world as part of The Gathering Ireland 2013.

To celebrate, we are inviting 8,000 overseas visitors to take part in a very special event, the People’s Parade!

The People’s Parade is a once in a lifetime opportunity for anyone that feels a connection with Ireland. Visitors from over 40 different countries will experience the warmth and energy of the crowds, as they make their way through the streets of Dublin, passing some of Dublin’s iconic landmarks such as the GPO, Trinity College and Dublin Castle. After soaking up the electric atmosphere, synonymous with St. Patrick’s Day, the participants will be able to watch the theatrical parade go by from a special viewing area!

Do you know someone who would be interested in participating in Ireland’s most iconic and fun-filled event? If so, extend the invitation to them!

For full details are available on our People’s Parade page.  Places are awarded on a first come first served basis, so send in your application today! St. Patrick’s Festival 2013 takes place from Thursday 14th to Monday 18th March, we hope to see you there!
