An Interview with Liam Cunningham, hosted by Jim Carroll
Featuring guest performances by Fehdah & Eve Belle

Ireland’s Finest: A Celebration of Irish Culture.

A lively evening of conversation, debate and performance with some of Ireland’s finest minds.  Host Jim Carroll will delve into the thoughts and insights of the special guest and uncover diverse visions on creating and sustaining a better Ireland.

Jim Carroll is the editor of RTÉ Brainstorm and host of the Banter series of public interviews.  This free event will be an engaging gathering to entertain, provoke and explore Ireland’s vision for the future.

Our special guest for the first ever Finest Minds is Dublin star of the stage and screen Liam Cunningham.  One of Ireland’s most recognisable actors, Cunningham is probably best known for his starring role as Davos Seaworth in HBO epic fantasy series Game of Thrones which has garnered millions of fans across the world.

His debut film role was in Irish classic Into The West where he played a police officer and since then he has gone on to star in movies such as War of the Buttons, Falling for a Dancer, The Wind That Shakes the Barley,Clash of the Titans, The Guard and Hunger. His accomplishments on the small screen include Doctor Who, Northanger Abbey, Merlin and Titanic: Blood and Steel.

Special guest performances on the night come from Fehdah, a future-afro soul vocalist, producer and multi-instrumentalist, on the front line of an emerging Irish hiphop and electronic music scene. An eclectic songwriter who draws on her love of Wassoulou music,  forging an entirely new take on electro-soul.

And Eve Belle, a twenty-year-old singer/songwriter and native Irish speaker from Donegal, recently signed to Irish independent label, Rubyworks (Hozier, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Wyvern Lingo) following the release of the delicately beautiful, Too Young to Feel This Old in 2016 and most recently she celebrates the release of Boy from the Blue.
