There is a slime and a place for getting messy and it’s here with us at EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum this St. Patrick’s Festival! Catherine McGuinness will be returning to the museum for a seriously slimy science lab. Come along, get creative, get a little green and learn something new in this fantastically disgusting workshop. St. Patrick may have kicked out the snakes but we can definitely bring back some of the slime!
This workshop is recommended for ages 6 - 12. Children must not be left unattended.
Special offer: Kids get free entry to the museum with the purchase of an adult museum ticket! Museum admission tickets can be purchased in advance online or at the ticket desk on the day.
EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum has a fascinating program of events taking place throughout the weekend inspired by the theme of Storytelling, including ‘Bearing Us All Away’: The Irish at Sea Exhibition, a panel discussion with History Ireland Hedge School , family craft and interactive story workshops with award winning writer, Sarah Webb, and a songs, stories and performance event entitled Gnás: ‘Thousand Are Sailing’ which explores the theme of emigration which runs through the Irish folk arts.
